 Claim to fame! I found out the other day that I have a claim to fame lol. I was lucky enough to be the one to catch the first baby in my unit on the anniversary of the day the NHS was started. I had no idea at the time, it was only when my mentor and another midwife were discussing it and they told me that I realised. It is something to put in my portfolio lol!!!

| Re: Claim to fame! What an unusual thing to be able to talk about - well done you. Sometimes it is nicer when you don't find out until afterwards. I hope you are still practicing when they celebrate 100 years and you can do the same then...lol KS x

| Re: Claim to fame! Thanks ladies, I was very surprised when I found out, but proud too. Hahaha KS, I very much doubt I will still be practising then, I am pretty sure I will be pensioned off long before that anniversary.
