Strange feeling.....

to know that they have started interviews today at my uni for next years intake.

Scary to think that when the successful ones start next year, I will no longer have the cushion of being 'only a first year', that is sooo scary, but really exciting too.

You won't believe how quickly time goes by Pauline!! Honestly, I still feel like a first year and look longingly at my 1st year epilletes!! Oh, to wear those again. I remember going into my second year and thinking 'they're going to expect loads from me now'. Scary stuff! Where does the time go?!!

lol, I know what you mean. They were interviewing 200 applicants for spaces of only 50 last week at uni. When I was first year, I never had an interview, so have no idea what it is like. I do still feel like a first year and at times wish I could back and start again - to listen that much intently, learn how to prep for exams.

200 applicants for 50 places... higher chances than here! I've heard figures of over 350 applicants for 15 places!

MadwifeMcann what is this about eppilits??? Do you get different ones each year? I always said on placement i wanted a badge to say

'ONLY A 1ST YEAR DONT ASK ME ANYTHING'

Blimey we don't get new ones we take ours to the "sewing room" for an extra stripe every year, scary that I now have 4 stripes ( I just tell em it means I can flip burgers now, as well as wash lettuce)
