Oh my god!!!! this is terrible! I'm a little slack with my recordings sometimes but its never with births, as, evidently these are the important ones. I wonder how she could edit birth details when they're supposed to be entered and then be final? It's appallng that it was allowed and was not noticed immediately.

I also struggle to understand her reasoning, especially as we can be given extra time to complete births etc.

I found this whole thing a little bizzare TBH,...It makes you wonder how can things like that can go unnoticed, and then end up in court its pretty dam scarey. x

I noticed the girl in question replied to the comments

I'm not a student so have no idea of the logistics behind this but it does seem rather unnecessary?

Ahhh yes, this was all going on when I was just starting my placement last year.

She is a very silly girl, Idon't know why she felt the need to do this.

Stupid and wrong

After reading your comments, it would appear that you believe all what you read in the biased reporting of a daily paper. At the end of the case(days of which were a sham)the honourable judge Lee informed the prosecution that god help you if this case goes to the court of appea. This has duly been done and is underway as a current unsafe conviction, I myself never have and never would never be a cheat. The above reply from Shelley is the only opinion I'm bothered about,as when my name is cleared I will show the bullying scenario and downright lies held agianst me. I look forward to the publicity of a positive kind and don't care for the ill-formed and judgemental approach adopted by people that don't know myself or my family and friends. The concept of fair justice was not employed in this private prosection and make note I will clear my name. Yours Sincerely A M Fairney

Thanks whoever drew attention to Anne's comments, maybe we should try to contact her with regards to her version of events?

Maybe I was wrong? I would be really interested to hear the whole story, though I'll bet we'll never know the truth

wow, am so suprised that this only made local news! There would normally be a witch hunt over this kind of thing i would have thought.
Will be interesting to see what the appeal brings, it looks as though she may have a case?

I think it did make more than local news? I remember hearing about this last year anyway, can't remember how or where though.

at the end of the day, no matter what the jury say, she is the only person that knows the truth. I worked in the crown courts for 7 years and it is very rare that someone who is innocent is convicted. but, it does happen - as everybody knows.

surely if someone has only witness 19 instead of 40 births... its down to their mentor? they should be the person to get them involved - or am i wrong? i'm not a SM so i dont know how it works
