I think I would just put down anything serious that you may have had - i.e. anything that actually made you take to your bed for a while or perhaps just anything where you have had to be treated by your doctor.

Hope this helps, it's not a silly question

The only thing I am under my gp for is Post natal depression. Would that count against me??

I wouldn't have thought so, provided it is being well managed and you are coping now. If you are applying for entry next year, then by the time next year comes round and you have to do occy health forms, you will hopefully be much better anyway. Many people have had depression and been accepted on the course, I don't see how they can discriminate against you if you have had post-natal depression.

Hi Ani

As far as I'm aware, they do not take PND into account as it is related to maternity/childbirth. I thought that you cannot discriminate against anyone who has or who has had an illness related to pregnancy/childbirth.

Hope this helps

Hi E C

Welcome to the site , have a look round, hope you like it here! Post an intro in the Community section, under the 'Introduce yourself' bit.

I didn't know that - about not discriminating due to pregnancy related illness - I know this applies to work, but are you saying it also applies to uni admissions?

So just out of interest, if someone was off work sick with PND for a considerable amount of time, would occy health overlook this? As opposed to someone who is off work with clinical depression not related to childbirth? I only ask because of the discussion going on in another thread at the moment.
