| I agree, I think practice is good. However, Cardiff was my first interview and I think that because I didn't know what to expect I didn't go in with any preconcieved ideas of how it would be and, looking back, I think I was most myself at that interview. I got into Cardiff but was unsuccessful at Glamorgan, my second interview and we shall see about Swansea. I keep trying to compare it to how the other interviews went and I think, as I'd had more interview experience some of my answers were almost rehearsed sounding but when I had questions I was not expecting (as they hadn't been asked before) I was floored and seemed almost to be grasping at straws to answer. I think it can be a double edged sword really, having had more interviews to practice. I think my advice to people applying next year would be to apply to as many as possible to try and get practice at interview but do not think you know what you're going to get at your last interview because every institute is different.

| Hmmm - I agree with you both! Swansea interview (1st) was very nervewracking but was happy leaveing there as I knew I couldn't have done any more yet at Bangor I felt that I could've done better as I knew I was a lot more myself at Swansea. However, I was a lot more prepared for Bangor as I'd already experienced an interview before! Very confused now... Apply for as many uni's as possible and use the information you get from each to prepare you for the next but don't expect the interview to be the same. Mine were completely different, eg; was asked at Bangor where I felt women should give birth and at Swansea, what was the last book I had read! Then again, a the role of a midwife is as diverse as the women she cares for, therefore, it stands to reason that the interviews would be different aswell. xx
