Re: What are you looking forward to / dreading the most??
The VEs start off with you just not really knowing what you are feeling and it all feels like mush and very weird. Slowly you start to notice more and more, although it takes time. It's only in the last year that I've felt like I know what I'm doing with them, and I still have a lot to pick up because there's a lot more information that you imagine that you need to get from doing an examination. As for needles and things, it is weird the first time, your hands are shaking but week by week you improve and then it becomes really normal.
Smells can be a bit overwhelming sometimes, but not often. little tip - put a bit of perfume on your shoulder epilettes or collar, and then if you feel a bit sick, just have a sly whiff of your shoulder. Works like a charm!
