Hi angie78, I am a mature student 46 to be precise and am so worried that i wont be accepted into uni. I have just applied for a volunteering job in the post-natal ward do you think this will help me .

hello again.....got another update !! ( maybe i shoud just start a blog ?? lol)
I went to occy health today - i may add that i watched with interest her taking my blood !!LOL.
Obv i need a hep b jab and poss more?? Now where was that advice on how to cope if you have eczema on your hands ????

Going on thursday for induction session so just waiting for crb to come back and off i go !!!

Hi - have read all of this thread with interest. Hope you really enjoy it. I did voluntary work on postnatal ward and I loved it. I saw the good, the bad, and the ugly (I'm not talking about the babies by the way!) It served its purpose in that it just reinforced the fact that I wanted to do midwifery and nothing else. The very best of luck. x
