Default On Call??

Good Evening all,

I've just sent off all my acommodation, crb, badge and student forms to confirm my place
so i'm extra extra excited, but I was wondering if you could help me out with a few things...

1) for SM2B's; do you already know whats happening with your health checks and injections for September?? my uni isnt sending any info 'till July, by which time i'll be in America and won't get back till 2 weeks before my course starts!! I have informed my uni and they didnt seem too sure on what to do!!

2) for SM's; what happens when your on call?? do you get a pager or do they just have your mobile number?? just wondering how it works!!

Thanks and sorry for my ramble :P
xxx

Hiya!

Referring to your question about SM2B's, I havnt heard a thing from Edge Hill, except being told about supplying them with references, but that's it!

So you're well ahead of me lol!

I gave my mentor my mobile phone number and she rang me and then I met her wherever she was going.

I was told by my uni, that they call you for all your jabs etc when you've passed all criteria to definatley have place!
So when Access course's etc are all passed you get an appointment through to go for everything!

They did my hep B and MMR jabs on my intro day at uni. As for on call midwives in the community on my trust have work mobiles which are expected to be on during work and on call hours. Students just put their numbers up on the oncall "board" using our own numbers.
