Blimey! you are going to be busy!

Yes, it is possible, do you have help at home, how old are your kids?

We didn't have many essays to do, we had two exams over the year for biology and 2 essays. An individual presentation, weekly homework for IT. We had a timed essay for psychology and I think 6 essays for that, but also had to sepned about 10 hours a week studying. I was a single mum of two then, but didn't work. One of my friends on the course worked two nights a week and had three kids but they are older and a bit independent.

Not much help really, you do need support, be it family, OH , childminder, nursery, whatever. And it is tough, but you get holidays with the kids which helps too

yeah my oh half is here, but he tends to do a lot of shift work so don't really no from

one week until the next what he is working! my babies are 6,5 and 3, the two oldest

are at school and the wee one will be starting nursery in Sept ..... although i never

realised we get are hols the same time as the kids, excellent that is a big help

it probably wont be as bad as i think, just my little mind doing overtime again lol

its very reassuring to see others with a family etc doing it....

have to think positive.

Would it be easier to do Access part time over 2 years and take it in the evenings while working during school hours? I did mine over 2 years and worked 25-30 hours during the day.. think it would be much easier than trying to do it the other way round.

Not all colleges run that course over two years, ours don't.

So you would have to find out.

Good luck with it!

I just wanted to wish you luck. 4 nights a week is rather a lot, what with the course and kids and family etc. I did nights when I did my access course but only 2. What days is your course over, if it is in the week can you do nights at the end of the week? Good luck whatever you do.....the commitment and drive you have will get you where you want to be in the end.
