Hi Angie

Sorry that you did not get a place and that the feedback was not good. At least with the feedback you know what to improve for next year and you could actually still try to get a place through clearing.

The thread you are looking for is:

Preparing for interview with 'PREPARE'

and maybe this one too:

Interview Questions.....

Hope this helps and if you need anything please ask. Which University did you apply to?

Hey Angie. Last year I had an interview at Surrey. I knew about half way through that i had totally mucked it up. I never asked for feedback as i knew exactly why I didn't get a place. This year was totally different, I came out of my interview at Brighton smiling and knew I had done good! I did get a place. I was totally prepared this year. I thought I was last year but now looking back I wasn't. Also I took kalms and rescue remedy as I knew nerves were a big part of it for me. Preparation is key, know what you are talking about and just shine.

The interviewer at surrey told me at the end of interview that I clearly had a phobia of interviews

Stay positive and don't let the feedback put you off. You can and will do it!

Sorry to hear your disappointing news. As in a previous post, preparation is the key. Try to look on it as an experience and it may give you a little more time to perhaps get some work experience in a relevant area. Know how you feel i was unsuccessful last year and was absolutely gutted but life is full of knocks. Pick yourself up and for your next interview you will fly through it. Perhaps they have a clearing pool where you applied so all hope is not lost for this year. Hope you feel better soon x

Don't let it put you off! As others have said, preparation is the key! I thought I had over prepared for my interview, although I don't think you can really over prepare, but knowing that I had alot of the answers prepared in my head made me feel more relaxed about it therefore i gave a better interview. Just see it as a practice run for next year! Good luck!
