can i take any more bad news ???

My friend and i were both rejected for uni this year. We have been supporting each other since finding this out and have researched our options as to what to do next. She texted me today saying the first uni she applied to has offered her a place ! I am so happy for her i really am but so sad for myself. I really feel alone now . I know we will still be friends but this will probably change our relationship. Up until now i havnt cried over the whole process but i admit to crying today Can i have some sympathy please XXX

Oh Angie, I am so so sorry for you... I know it's no consolation now but think of all the help she can offer you when you get accepted next year?!

Please, don't let it affect your friendship - you have been there for each other so far! Who knows, you may get offered a place soon!!

I understand how you feel, you had at least support and company from someone who understood completely, and whilst you're happy for her, I see how hard it must be now for you.

ahhhhhhhh angie, sorry to hear your feeling down in the dumps, it must be a horrible feeling,

dry your eyes chuck, and put your chin in the air,

look at it this way, so you haven't got a place for this years intake, but it ain't the end of the world, just look at the advantage your going to have over all the new applicants plus you have a few months were you can do some work/reasearch to strenghthen your application

Oh angie, im so sorry, you poor thing. If i was in you position i would feel exactly the same and im sure your friend would too.
