What gives him the right to say what women should and shouldn't do, he should look at his own bits, they are in my humble opinion far from erotic and sexy.
I am pleased and proud to say, I discreetly fed both my sons both at home and in public, and I am not ashamed of that, and no other mother should be made to feel that way either.

I am so angry I cannot read the whole article, how ridiculous to suggest that women should put themselves as sex objects for their husbands rather than feed their newborn babies, disgusting. The man's a complete chauvinistic ****pot quite frankly.

I did feed my daughter in public, discreetly too, though often getting abuse for it.

Does he not think that the sleepless nights the crying, the nappies, the bleeding, and the presence of a little nocturnal person would affect a marriage?

OMG, what an idiot! Although I do believe there a a fair few men, and women even, who share this ridiculous view. There will always be people in this world with very different and odd opinions, it's a fact of life. I guess everyone is entitled to voice their opinion, happily, on this occasion he's just come off a complete idiot and made a fool of himself.

While my husband had no problem with me breastfeeding, he did hate me doing it in public, he'd say 'do you have to do that right now?' I mostly stood my ground if the baby was hungry and I had no other option but did try to carry bottles whenever we went anywhere together, even using formula if I hadn't been able to express enough. Sometimes I wish I'd stood up more for public breastfeeding but I guess it's good to be able to compromise in a marriage.
