Question Access results, what do we do now.....

Wondering if I need to do anything when I get my official results from my college that I get tonight?

As I was offered a 'conditional' place, do I need to send a copy to my University or do the Universitys' automatically get a copy of them???

I daren't contact them myself as I think I'm on their block list () from all the questions I ask!!!

My college are informing uni that I have passed my access. However, knowing how disorganised they were about most things, I think I'll be checking anyway! I would say there is no harm in you ringing to tell the uni - and theres bound to be someone else who calls them more!!!

I rang the uni last week to say i'd passed the Access course, and they said i had to bring the results down to them when i get them!
I would ring them, sounds like everywhere is different! And it's not worth not making sure, they proberly have loads of people ringing everyday asking things like this anyway!

I am sure I remember reading somewhere that I could fax my certificate through to the uni once I had received it. Once they had confirmation then they would start to send me all of the registration details etc. you know, the important stuff that we have been waiting for so long for!!!

I just checked my offer letter as I wasn't sure about this. It just says for Access qualification to send a copy of the certificate to the uni as soon as we have received it. I suppose then they can confirm our conditional offers.

Just want to say well done to you all for passing your Access course and good luck with your application for University. I start at Kingston University Surrey this year and I cannot wait. I am 45 years old and have waited so long to be able to have the time to do it.

Good Luck Everyone. Ness xx

good luck to you too nessyrob, this was very heart warming to read. I think it really does go to show that its never to late to live out your dream, (hope that does not sound patronising) I just wish more people had your determination. One of the ladies in my class at college is 49 and she is going to LJMU this sept to do mental health nursing she to has waited almost her whole life to forefill her dream so I congradulate you and her, and I wish you the very best of luck for the future. x x
