Negativity

Hi guys,

Feeling quite down

I'm on the reserve list to start in sept but gotta wait till august to find out more!!
The thing is at the moment, I feel as some people I know are revelling in my anticipation and anxiety!

Some people I know when I see them constantly ask me what i'm going to do in september!! although they know I got to sit tight and wait. I kinda feel as though these people were envious to begin with and now are revelling in the possibility of me not being lucky enough this year (although it won't stop me trying). It might just be me being paranoid, but it really upsets me as I am always happy for others(just the way I am) and can't understand why others can't feel the same way towards me!!

Don't mean to sound too depressing its just starting to get me down, unless its just a bad day for me.

But I wondered if others have experienced this type of envy when they applied and started?

Oh well chin up and here's to waiting

It seems it is human nature to be envious of others doing well, so you are most definately not alone!

So sorry you are going thruogh this Carla! I waited three months to hear if I had made it into the course and it was complete hell, with everyone asking if I'd got in and some saying that it was a very popular course all the time, I know it doesn't help, people just don't think or care do they?

You're not alone, there are loads of us here who know and understand what you are going through, big hugs. Try to ignore them, they are jealous (easier said than done I know).

Sometimes getting into this job and really enjoying it is hard as human nature sometimes is the complete pits

It is hard sometimes, but its nice to go somewhere and talk about it, you know?

It is, it really helps, and has helped many of us many times too.

I wish I could make it better for you, and hope you do get in for September, hun. If not there are positives to that too, such as more time for money and experience so keep that in mind, though I don't see why you wouldn't lots of people make it through that way, think positive!

I know its hard, you must always come here and get virtual hugs from this lovely squishy midders family!

LOL !! Yep I will, always better out than in lol. It will be such a weight off me when I know. I kinda feel as though I'm stuck in "no mans land". And the jelousy makes it harder to deal with

It does, I know. It doesn't ever really leave either, though those who are true friends and supportive loving family will be there through it with you, the others will get bored soon enough!

No-one really understands this, but us. This place is cool as we learn and gain support from eachother at many different times and for many different reasons!

You are certainly not in no-man's land here, just right in amongst us rowdy lot!!

I have experienced this too, and I agree it is upsetting and demoralising.

I don't know why people are like this, but they aren't true friends who do it in my opinion. True friends are there for you now matter what, and will be there to support you when needed.

Thankyou !! starting to see who my true friends are and they have been fab with my moaning lol! the other peoples words just seem to be so cutting
