I thought the whole thing with cros was the material they are made from thats why they were banned!....I would get some of these if we were aloud. xx

Are they as comfy as crocs do you think?

Being rubber do you think they will make my feet smell even worse than normal

I got my crocs from jelly egg, and got the primas because they were the cheapest and another student let me try hers on:

I've found them fantastically comfortable, but they can make your feet smell. I wear socks, but by the end of a 12 hour shift the socks need fumigating!

On the plus side, the crocs can go in the washing machine at 40 degrees C. I think I'll probably buy them again when these ones wear out... the only downside I've experienced is I do sometimes get electric shocks off the horrible old wheelchairs and the lift buttons in work, but I think thats mostly down to my electric personality!

It is worth experimenting with footwear a bit - I started with shoes with a bit of a heel on them, but found that my knees were killing by the end of the shift. Shifting to super-flat crocs and that problem has gone completely. Some midwives I've talked to have the opposite problem and need a heel or their knees hurt!

I would also class this as an essential Item,
I had one from college but i wanted a new one, one without anything saved on it!!
Plus I got an bargin it was reduced from £19.99 to £7.99....the addded bonus is that its a pink hello kitty one.

I agree monroe, these are very handy things to have, you can save presntations on them....powerpoint etc, then take them into uni to use rather than having to print loads of stuff out.

Hi, your uni will supply you with your uniform, you may wish to buy extra trousers though and of course you have to buy your own placement shoes.
