I was just browsing the net and seein that people are being offered interviews... with a weeks notice!!! Is this normal practise?! I've got no holiday days left to take this year as we have a week off at Christmas when the nursery is closed... I'd assumed since its now mid-November I'm not likely to be called for an interview before New Year.. Am I being completely naive?! Ackkk it'll have to be a sicky I'm afraid!

I thought the closing date was dec/jan so our interviews tend to start feb/march I suppose it depends on the intake, some are for 2009 aren't they thats soooooo in advance, don't worry you'll be fine, we got lots of notice for ours x

Some interview before the deadline is over. They interview and hand out places as they go along. Hence the mad rush to get the application in before end of September!

Got mine in as early as i could and got weeks notice for interview then 3 wks later excepted. rollercoster of emotions i can tell ya!!!! waited ages for another interview and its not untill jan .. Think they are chosing a certain amount out of each interveiw day thats what i think anyway... who knows the method in their madness.... by the way littlenoo think i recognise you of another forum.. small world this internet eh...

LittleNoo, at Brighton we had ooodles of notice, a month or two I think, was so0o0o long ago, but it was definatley plenty of time to get time off work etc...
