Nails???!

I agree with Pixie - our tutor said so that when you hold your palm in front of your face you can't see the tips of your nails over your fingers. We had a handwashing OSCE and one girl was failed on the length of her nails! That was a bit unfair considering they gave me special dispensation to have long nails because I was getting married the day after...

I do see a lot of midwives who still have long nails or have extensions, but us students are all good girls!

Yep - just cut mine for the last time til september - they are probably 1mm - maybe 2 - but really probably not more than 1.5mm - you really do want them out of the way...

Although I fully intended to cut mine short in time for uni, isn't it just typical that for once all my nails are long and really strong, usually there is always one or two that I just can't grow and they are all as brittle as anything.

This is going to be a real pain for me as my nails grow super quick, I'll have to cut them every other day!

Ekkk... I love me clear nail varnish.. VERY rarely don't wear it!!! Surely thats what gloves are for???
