Uni Rep?

I'm seeing some people with uni rep in their signature, just wondering what that's all about, can you become one, what it involves etc etc!

Just being a curious kat!

I'm a rep for our cohort.

We had to have a vote at the beginning of the year as to who would become "class rep". Unfortunately, no one could decide, so we put names in a hat and joy of joys out came my name! lol!

To be honest, being rep is no real hardship, the tutors have my contact info so they can email or call with any info and my job is to distribute this info between the rest of our group. I also have to go to the institute and course comittee meetings and speak up about any issues our cohort has, but at worcester these are only twice yearly.

Oh ok, I thought it was something to do with sm.net, such as a person who can inform others about it etc! Im a fool!

Hello Kat

Yes the ones in signatures are the .net uni reps. There is generally one for each uni from the site to help promote the site as a source of help/encouragement or just a chillout chat for other student midwives. Not sure if we have one or not for Middlesex

Oh right, who do I approach about finding out about it? I'd love to be involved if there isn't one for Middlesex!

Im sure the more the merrier. Theres not alot to do until Sept, theres a group in the social groups CSW will give you access
