TVU and Hep B,C

Dear All,

Got into TVU for this October 08 which is fantastic but am waiting for criminal checks, references and medical checks to go through for an unconditional offer which they are only doing now so probably won't know for a while yet particularly as the administrator is on holiday all of August. Am feeling a bit frustrated.

Was wondering are you meant to have any immunity to Hep B and C before you start as I know that you get Hep B jabs but you can't get Hep C ones can you?

When does TVU normally start and do they have a intro day beforehand?

Really want to get all this over and done with and begin, can't wait!!!

I am a TVU Slough Oct 07 student so may be able to help. I also had the same confusion and ended up getting hep B and blood tests done before and then told by occy health I should have waited and had to have checks again there.

You get the hep B vaccinations once course starts at occupational health and then immunity checked after 3rd dose.

My start date was 15th October and we had intro day 1 month before.
