I used to have this problem, RG, but I found a new type of divider that's wider so you can see them even if you have poly pockets in the folder! Such a simple idea.

Oh God, this comment sounds so.... I don't know, Monica Geller-ish (From 'Friends')

I was out in town yesterday and had to buy the coolest ring binder! My hubby was laughing so much last night when I was showing him my folder, refill pad and dividers, lol! I just hope I am this excited when I start doing the exams.

It's so exciting for you! Good luck!
You can get extra wide dividers in woolworths so you can use the polypockets!

I didnt buy any books the library was good enough and I would usually photocopy what I needed for each module/assignment and keep that in my files. Came in handy if you needed to go back to something for an assignment and the book had been taken out the library by someone else!

Good luck anyway and enjoy! I did and I made some lovely friends to... one to which I am going to uni with, which is fab!! (rainbow goddess)

Just how many subjects are there. I was all signed up yesterday but realised reading this that I don't know how many subjects there are so that means I don't know how many folders I need

We have our inducation day on the 8th Sept

OMG what am I like I have just realised that I didn't even double check which days of the week we are on, I think is Mon Wed and Fri

Hahahaha I make myself panic sometimes.

Someone mentioned about a book list, does anyone still have it ?

Dankaxx

keep the excitement going ladies

Juliy

Different colleges may have different reading lists but they have advised me to get:

Sociology as applied to medicine - Graham Scambler
Biochemistry - pamela c champe
Psychology, a level through diagrams - Grahame Hill
Human Biology - Mike Boyle
A first course in psychology - ??

I advise you get them from amazon, much cheaper!

I'm also getting a couple of midwifery ones so i can base some of my work around midwifery.

At my college we have the first term (Sep-Dec) doing 4 or 5 modules, then the second term (Jan - June) doing the other 3 or 4 modules, i think!!!!! So you may not need all of your books straight away.

Alot of peopl aren't buying any books but i think thy are invaluable and you have the option of spending more time at home using your own things, especially if you have children.

Lots of luck to you

All I have been told by my college is that on a tuesday I will be doing Core Skills and sociology, wednesday - biology, thursday psychology and friday english and maths but this is set to change. I also can't remember if I chose to do social policy, would I be able to drop this subject if I did choose it?
