Thanks Ladies

I haven't had anything like that information. I agree I like buying books but not sure with the loss of my income I can aford to buy now. I will try where ever possible to buy. Might just have to have a reality check this year though.

My course seems to be Mon Wed and Fri, in out in out, and I am having an interview next tue for a part time job. I work of slightly better financially with a part time job as well.

I am really excited now.

also a diary for keeping dates when your essays need to be in as you may have 2-3 essays to be in the same week so this would be a good idea x

This made me laugh. I totally understand where you are coming from. Monday morning me and my kids were chilling and there was a knock at the door. It was my middle lad's friend calling for him to go out and when his friend saw my youngest he questioned why he was home because all his classmates had gone back to school!!!!!!! I hadn't realised that he was due back and so panic errupted and we were running round like headless chickens. He was about a hour late but the school was really good about it; Thank God. What makes me laugh is that I put on my personal statement that being a single parent had given me life skills such as time keeping and organisational skills.
Just got to say this thread has helped me enormously with the stuff needed for my access course. Spent a fortune on stationery and stuff today. Loved the idea about putting the file divider in a plastic pocket and just cutting a hole in it to allow the tab through. It really works!!!!! Good luck guys on your studies. One for all and all for one............... xxxxxxxxxx
