Got a call back from the Volunteer Co-ordinator at the Hospital
A few of you know that I called my local hospital last week and left a msg with the volunteer co-ordinator. Well she was on her hols and has just called me back. She was telling me that she started in this job in 2004 as it hadn't been around for over 10yrs at the time. But saddly lost her job after 12 months due to cuts. They have just started volunter work up again this year and she is at it with avengest!
She is devolping volunteer to work in the martunerity dept. And would put me forward for this!!! It is just cleaning the family rooms, filing, sitting with mothers if they need it ect. It is still in the early stages of what they are looking for but she said as they get to know me you don't know what they could be getting me to do!!! I am so excited. She is sending me out a short form to fill in and I need to send it back to her, then once she has checked my refs she will call me in for a interview!! God, I just can't stop doing little jumps for joy.  :c lap:
