how stressful becoming a full-time student midwife would be! pmsl I thought the application process was bad enough but it seems the financial side is even more so... ie council tax and housing benefit!!

Oh tell me about it! I have just sent off loads of forms with probably enough in them for someone to commit ID fraud!!

I havent even started with the housing benefit, council tax and tax credits!

O my gosh, council tax benefit forms.........

I think there is nothing they don't want to know!! I filled in all the forms a while back, just to see if we qualified.... we don't... and an interesting note said we should be able to afford to live on £247 a week or something! (including all tax credits, wage etc) hmmmmm my food bill is about £90 a week and mortgage is £185 a week so I dunno where they get that from!

Yup! Bet it was all calculated BEFORE the credit crunch and mortgage interests rates were so high....
