Default Midwives in Canada?

Hello there, lovlies!

I am aware that midwifery doesn't really stretch across the whole of Canada and the US. I was wondering if anyone had any idea as to whether midwives practise in Regina, SK? I've found conflicting information on this topic and would be interested because I'd quite like to look into doing my elective there as I'd have free lodgings with a friend!

I'd appreciate any info anyone may have! Many thanks

Noo x

Noo,

Best find out first if your Uni lets you go to places they dont have links, as many wont let you go because of insurance etc. I really wanted to go to Sweden as my bro lives there and the swedes have a great attitude to preg & birth but my uni didnt have links

Never mind. A while yet to think about it. Don't suppose we'd start looking at electives til the second year anyway.

Hiya, i've been looking at Canada as well and if you google midwifery in Canada there is a fantastic website which shows what each state expects to get in and what you need there. I'll try and find it and put it on here for you. Some states are easier than others. Hope you manage to find what you want x
