New Staffing Structure

As you all know the site is growing fantastically fast with over 600 members in only a few months and often there is over a 100 of you online at once! We are delighted and really excited that you enjoy coming to SM.Net and your feedback has been glowing! We are excited about the future and we have a few things up our sleeves to make SM.Net ever better!

As the membership grows we are committed to grow the staff along with you, this means there will always be a staff online to help you whenever you are here.

I have implemented a new staffing structure at SM.Net over the past day or two and I thought it would be helpful to share the new roles and the wonderful people who now hold these posts.

The people selected were ones that had been really keen posters and helpful to others on the site and we are delighted to have them on the team. Their experience as a wanabe, student, RGN/midwife were also taken into account when deciding what post they would hold, that way you will be getting support and advice from a person who has been where you are.....

The new structure is as follows;

Running the show are;

Me! I will continue to oversee, direct, work on projects, develop the site behind the scenes and have responsibility for the educational content of the site.

Rob Our resident IT/Technical Administrator heading up IT, marketing, media and anything hard.

Mintywife (RGN/RM) Heading up and overseeing the wannabe area and staff providing advice/support/direction and also managing the jobs section.

Smwife (Year 2) - Heading up and overseeing the student section and staff providing support/advice/direction and guidance on all matters studenty...

Dory - (RM) will continue to oversee the Glossary and Education section along with myself.

Helping us run the show are;

Coffee bean (waiting to start Year 1 and new recruit!) who will be managing the Wanabe section, and is your first port of call for all matters wannabe...... she will be working with Mintwife and directly with new recruits michelle80 (wanabe) & adele (wanabe) as moderators

Tiffany (Year 1) has been promoted to manage all things studenty! she will be working with Smwife and working directly with new recruits ollybolly (Year 2) & groovychick (Year 1) as moderators.

Myself and Dory have been joined by the promoted midwifemissy (Year 1) who will now manage the education section
and we are joined by the lovely Tink (Year 2) as moderator.

LittleNoo (wanabe) has a site wide role of moderating and has been promoted to act as superviser and support for all moderators. Tracyb (Year 3) and MadwifeMcCann (Year 3) will continue to moderate side wide.

Id like to say a big thankyou to the team and I look forward to working closely with you in taking SM.Net to even dizzier heights! We will learn alot on the way and I expect we will have a lot of fun too
