Ooooh my friends who have just had a baby are in Kent, what a fab excuse to visit them. It is a Saturday but I think I will be on placement then, does anyone know how often we have to work weekends, and if it's fairly often and I am likely to have to work that day, how easy it is to negotiate working around things like these?

Hey, RG!! I live there, so am definately going!
We do do weekends quite alot, but you can often make 'day off requests' before you recieve your off duty, you should have understanding peeps at uni and placement though as it is a study day!!

Think is does say November 22nd (Sat), you know me could be wrong ha ha. Ruth and I attended the last one of these and found it really informative. Have to supply your own lunch though, didn't realise when we went. Hope that helps. Theresa. x
