Am just appling for this course! was wondering myself which is bestto take?
i think you can take all the options and it would give you 93 credits? anything over 60 is credited seperatly!! or is that me being blonde!!
shall we make an offical DLC thread?? that way we can all chat to each other about it?

Hi All,

I'm also looking to do the DLC and just wondered how long this is going to take me? I have read the site and it does say 1 year but just wondered to you who are doing the course is this about right?

I really want to apply for uni (sep 09) and the uni have said i need 67 credits. I work full time so just need to know if I could do this....

Thanks

Some people have managed in 8 months but I think you would really need to work at it and do it most nights.

I've been doing the course for 4 months and have managed about 5 modules so far but I have found the larger one's I'm taking longer to get my head round!!

You have to be very motivated and self-disciplined, it is hard to do cos I feel soo tired once my little girl is in bed, I just want to chill and watch TV!

I only have the one child and don't work so it must be harder for people who work and have more children!!

I find that reading about Midwifery and talking to people on here helps me to get motivated when I'm struggling, just want to get it all out the way and look forward to getting in Uni, hopefully!! x x x
