I've just ordered my first 3 midwifery books thanks to this thread!

I ordered:
- Ballieries Midwives Dictionary
- Myles' Textbook for Midwives
- Baby Catcher

Hopefully they will help me for applying for Sept 09!

What book would you suggest I buy first. I am at the very early stages of midwifery ie still doing all the research.

RCM's Midwives, MIDIRS and The Practising Midwife I believe are the main journals.

Pretty much any of the core text books would be a great start for you... however, I'm sure the girls will give you specific titles.
