Hiya dizzygee, i have just finished access but as i didnt get in to uni this year my uni advised me to do k101-introduction to health (and something but i cant remeber !!!LOL)

That may be a good one as a few people seem to have done this one ( it was known as k100 but has just changed) after access or maybe instead of ??

I would double check that your other qualifications are ok first though as a lot of unis do seem to prefer the access ??

Another one on open uni is introduction to councelling ??
These are all level 1 courses which i have been informed are roughly the same as year 1 degree level.

So my advice is look on the open uni website and have a nosy at the ones i have mentioned .

Good Luck XXX

Hi there
Must be quick as wriggly baby on lap!!
I am not doing Access as I already have a degree, looked at OU but think I will do a distance learning A level (ICS has good deals at the mo) I am very tempted by psychology.
Have you thought about a levels??

I have done Access, but it is 3yrs old in August so im currently doing K100 with the OU. It is a good course to start with and it fits in around family life which is great. You can also get funding from the OU even if you work so you may not have to pay the full fees.

Hi there, I had enough A level points but did Open uni as eveidence of recent study. I did Personal finance which may seem like a strange course to take but it really helped me brush up on my maths.

I do have A levels and postgrad diploma, but think i need evidence of recent study so thought might do this. Am trying to find something interesting and relevant but not the same as A level Biology as i have this already. The Counselling one interests me - thanks i will search for that!
