Hi, I am new to this site and was just wondering if someone could give me some advice.
I am applying for midwifery in 2009 and after speaking to a midwifery manager today regarding my previous placements whilst on my access course, I informed her that i was lucky enough to witness a caesarean section whilst on placement. She was absolutely horrified that the trust had put me in such a vulnerable position due to no training and suggested I immediately take that off my personal statement. Does anybody have any advice to that? I thought it a wonderful experience and it took pride of place on my P.S. |

Can't you word your PS to reflect that you didn't take an active part in the C-section but as LittleNoo puts it...had a marvelous opportunity to observe it!??
