I went on the UCAS website, and I clicked on the vacancies and for my local uni, TEESSIDE, it had vacancies for midwifery!! Could this be tru or have I read it wrong??

Hi yes they are listed in clearing! See the clearing thread in student midwife to be section!

Oh god know!! Im not ready yet!! Just with me having a think, just a lil shocked there were some places!! I hope everyone gets a place!!

I'm hoping to go to Teesside Uni next year so I hope the same thing happens then!!!

May have to weight til my Lewis is at ft school!! Although I have roped my niece into babysitting duties as she will be turning 16 at the same time!!

Lots of luck hun, I was at Teesside when I did my HR degree (although I left 2 weeks into my final year)

Thanks my lovely ;0) Being a Mum comes first I know. My daughter will be going to Uni next year in Leeds and that means I've lost my babysitter. Wish I had a lovely niece like yours. But I'm a great believer in what is meant to be will be. I'm sure there will be an option open for me that will enable me to do my course if it is what I should do and like wise for you and all the lovely peeps on this site. I wish you lots of luck and I really do hope we manage to pull this off. Reading all the posts and messages on this site just makes it so obvious what a fantastic bunch you all are and that there are some lucky ladies out there who will be very blessed to have you as their midwife.
