I'm a complete idiot!

I can't believe it! Had my 2nd day of access today, and didn't go!!
Was really looking forward to it aswell, feel like i've blown it now and probably won't be allowed back on Monday!
My daughter stayed with her dad last night and i stupidly went out for a few drinks. Anyway, when i got in i forgot to set the alarm clock before i went to bed...and so woke up after i was meant to be at college!
I know i should've gone in late, but can't face the embarassment of walking in late!
What to do??

Aww i wouldn't worry, i am sure they won't stop you from continuing the course, i would ring up and explain, obviously not that you had had a few drinks etc but that you are committed to doing the course and will be there on Monday as expected, lets them know everything is ok and puts your mind at rest too.

Aww I would call your tutor hunni and just explain that you were looking after your daughter or something. To pass the access course you have to attend 85% of the course I was told... so surely missing 1 lesson won't be so bad.
Just make sure you tell them that you promise to catch up on the missed lesson, and that you'll work really hard... and hopefully they will say see you next lesson.

I'm sure this wont go against you on the course.. Maybe just give the college a ring and say that you're sorry etc.. You should be fine!

I'd give them a ring and tell a white lie, maybe misunderstanding about days etc?

It's only the one day, but I know it makes you feel rotten, we've all done it!

Thanks girls, can always rely on you to cheer me up! Tried to ring my tutor but couldn't get through, so i e-mailed her, fingers crossed! x

Just got an e-mail back from my tutor, she said its fine and she'll talk to me Monday! Thank goodness for that x
