Clinical Placements in Plymouth?

Hi there everyone, does anyone know where the clinical placements are for Plymouth, UWE & Cardiff UNI's?? Thanks xx

UWE placements are in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol I think I no there are UWE students in Gloucester, I live in Glos so will be applying there and Worcester xx

plymouth, u can be based in cornwall up to somerset

Uwe also do bath, swindon and weston (though weston do a lot of their placements at st michaels in bristol centre...)

Do you get to chose where you go on your placements or do the uni's just arrange where you will go?

You can put a preference for your zone - weston comes under south bristol. If your offered a place - you'll be told at that point which zone your place is being offered for. If you accept it then you can be place anywhere within that zone at each placement... Hope that helps?

Placements for Cardiff are at the University Hospital of Wales, Llandough Midwifery Led Unit, Royal Gwent in Newport, Nevil Hall in Abergaveny and Caerphilly Birth Centre. Students are expected to undertake placements in all of these hospitals at some point over the three years of their course. Hope this helps?xxx
