DLC questions????

Hiya,

Im thinking of starting the DLC Access to midwifery course soon, but just wanted to ask a few questions first?
When you have completed a module do you send it through the post or e-mail to your tutor?
What extra materials do you need to buy when your doing the course etc books?
Would be really happy if anyone can tell me and if anyone can tell me how they found the course did they enjoy it.

Hi there Mummymidwife and welcome to this wonderful site! I am doing DLC and I think you are meant to post your stuff through. For example, in the Comms module that I'm nearly finished(!) they ask you to post everything and one of the bits is a recording of an interview which you couldn't email! But you probably could do a lot of stuff if you asked them. As to how I'm finding it - excellent. My tutor is friendly and approachable and I have just had a very complicated email I sent to them asking about UCAS forms and module choices answered quickly and comprehensively by one of the main people. The work is quite tough but I highly recommend it.

Sorry - forgot to answer the bit about books. They do ask you to buy one statistics book but that's it for Access to Midwifery. I intend to try and get a few books as I go along, but from the library.
