Smile What university did you attend?

Simple question, just want to know what university you attended so i can get an idea, and are there anyone else besides me, that didnt do or hasnt done Biology for A-Level? Although i am doing other social and human sciences.
Thanks in advance, lol.

Hey Becky. Read your other post last night, but was too tired to reply!
I ended up doing an access course, which was the equivalent of 2 A levels. I did this because I had very few GCSE's and no A-levels.

Your best idea is to nip onto the UCAS website (or, i think there's a link on here) and find out which Uni's do midwifery, then go onto their websites, have a look at the ones you like the look of and apply for a prospectus from each of the ones you like. Then you'll get a good idea of what the uni has to offer, what the course is like and what qualifications you'll need to get in.

I was thick at school. All those many many moons ago. I am 44 now and recently did the Access to Nursing also. I have rubbish school results, but finally made up for it now in my 40's. I think at 16 it is great to know your own mind and what you want to do! I have a daughter 16 and at the mo she has no idea. Shes gone back to do A. Levels but isnt going down any particular road (thinks she just doesnt want to leave her friends). Seriously tho, I think its great you are focused at 16. Go for it girl!!

Lol believe me i'm not that focused, it's only recently i've really found the profession that i'm passionate about, but my mom still thinks i'll be coming to her in a few weeks having changed my mind yet again, lol. So far i've wanted to be a graphic designer, an architect, a geography teacher, a primary school teacher, a doctor, a nurse and now a midwife, but out of all of them, midwifery really feel comfortable, like with the other ones i had resevations about them (do you get what i mean) and it was mostly about how much i would earn, lol but with midwifery it's nothing like that, i know this is what i want to do...but you all know that already, i mean you've all been the same route as me. lol.
