Was just looking at the points systems, couldnt see anything to do with access, so was wondering if it runs on the points system or is it different?

its different hun. you either have a-leveles with thepoints system, or you have further education (access/open uni/nvq etc).
If you go to the mature student section of the uni website, it usually details it there.

Access runs on different course modules and you get so many credits for each module at either level 2 or 3.
