Dawn Gets a Baby...anyone else see it?
anyone else see this programme on BBC3?
I thought it was brilliant and just reinforced my wish to be a midwife, and Dawn was so funny and emphasised how little some people know and how scary the whole experience can be if not informed and supported by a great midwife

Yep I saw it! love dawns documentaries! She's funny, but really put across the point that women enter pregnancy with little knowledge, unless they have sourced this before hand, and really do need the support of their midwives!

Arrr I didn't see it and my computer is knackered and wont handle watching it on iplayer! Shame as I love Dawn she is fabulous. Did anyone see the lesbian one? She was so funny.

Just watched this, and loved it!
She's great fun, and really shows how little women know about having babies, and that even though women can read all the books, nothing compares to actually seeing what goes on in the delivery room. Good on her, and the mums who took part!

Thanks becface for posting this and thank you Ani for giving the web address so I could watch it. It was so interesting and I was bubbling when Meredith's baby was born. I did have to laugh though when she exclaimed Oh look its a baby!!! Its funny what we folk say when our babies arrive. xxxxxxxx
