I spoke to the tutors at one of my chosen uni's and they said that you have to meet the educational criteria but it was more important for them to see that you are passionate about midwifery and if possible have some health care experience or relevant work experience

I agree with Claire, but note you said 'old' exams - how old? I think you have to show evidence of recent study, so that Biology course might be a good idea! xxx

The exams I took were in 1998 and then I did a degree from 1998-2002. The university (Queens, Belfast) said that the exams I took in 1998 were fine for eligibility when I asked specifically about if it had to be recent study.

Well, in that case your degree top trumps your previous exams anyway - you are OVER-qualified!

as far as im aware you need to meet the criteria to get the interview, then its down to your PS and your interview, they like to know you are passionate about midwifery. good luck hun xx
