Anyone applying for 2010 intake??

Hiya girls,

Is anyone going to apply for the intake of 2010? Im just about to start the access to midwifery course, and have phoned the uni i want to apply to and they have told me to apply now for the intake 2009, was really excited when they said this, but after speaking to my partner ive decieded to wait a year. I have a 4 month old son, and would like to spend as much time with him has possible, and take my time with the access course.

Im really itching to get started tho and would love to hear from people if they are applying for 2010 so i dont feel like im the only one. It seems to far away. x x x x x

YES! meeee, i am going to be apart of them 2010 intake! wooh, i know mean but there always someone on here going into uni a some point or another.! there good like that lol! Well a my names becky if you cant already tell lol i'mcurrently doing A-Levels, and i kinda have a pushy tutor who already has me looking at uni's but thats great really because i've been deciding which uni i'll go to since i was 11 lol, yh so we've established i do things early. Aww and congrats on the baby ( a bit late but whatever.) lol

Hi im applying for 2010, ive just started Access in Science part time it takes 2 years. I wouldve loved to do it full time but i cant afford to give up work and to be honest the workload is plenty for me at the minute!!

I think your making the right choice babies are little for a short time and you can never have the time over. My youngest will be 2 in Nov, so he'll be starting nursery when i go to uni. my youngest daughter started nursery 2 weeks ago and i felt immense guilt because i couldnt take her and her dad had to. My hubby said it was great because she was the first that he has had the time to take to school on their first day and she felt very special that daddy was bringing her. I think we will all have to make little sacrafices when uni comes and hopefully our children wont feel that they have suffered.

I'm going to apply for 2010 too!! Want to do it now two years seems such a long time to wait, but I wanted to spend a bit more time with the kids and get a few extra quals. What uni(s) are you going to apply to. I'm looking at Beds and Herts.

Im applying to Sheffield hallam uni, its the only one i can apply to really. Cant travel far because of partner, baby and house, not forgetting the dog!! Just hope i get in 1st time otherwise it will be even longer to wait boo! Its so scary

Im considering it at the mo in all honesty as my baby girl is 7 months now, and I want to spend as much time with her as I can. Was thinking of finding a job after finishing my access course, something in a caring role so it will still be useful to me in the long run.
Im still deciding whether to apply for '09 or '10... xx
