Can anyone help me with Ucas form??
Hi,
I've been using this fantastic site for a while now, but this is the first time I've posted. I've wanted to be MW since I had my first child 7 yrs ago and have finally decided to take the plunge and apply! I'm in the process of filling out my Ucas application for 2009, and have a question I'm hoping one of you lovely ladies can help me with. I've filled out my qualification's, which includes a Business Degree I gained 5 years ago, I know my GCSE and A Level grades but I have no I idea which examing board marked them. Unfortunaltely, it was 14 yrs ago I no longer have any of the certificates - very poor organisation, I know.
Any idea's?? HELP?!

I didnt have a clue with mine either and just guessed to be honest. No one ever asked for the certificates as they were only bothered about my current access course.

Hi Mel, welcome!
I'd say you should be able to get them from your old school if you call them and they will know the examining board too.

OMG, how quickly did you reply!! Thanks so much Moondance and Dancing Queen, I just want everything to be perfect, I think I'll call my old school to check, they may think I'm slightly mad (they'd be right). But it's good to know that they probably won't delve too deep.
Still working on my PS, hit a bit of a stale mate though.

Try writing to AQA, I did mine 6 years ago and they were all AQA, apart from my maths which was Edexcel, best to try them two. x It can take up to 6 weeks to get anything back so ask now! x x x Good Luck! x x x Lolly

Re: Can anyone help me with Ucas form??
To be honest with you, I'd check with the Uni if they really need them. They are interested in what quals you have now, to get u into Uni. The thing is, if you find out who the examining board is and put them on your UCAS form, you will need the certificates to back these up. I found out that these can cost between 50 and 100 pound, so if their not really relevant to your degree, I would leave them out.
