Hi there,
Unfortunately, to take the access course, you have to do the mandatory modules first. English and communications, maths and statistics and IT. If you have English and maths at grade C or above already, you don't have to do them. Hope this helps. The site should explain it all though. xx |

Thanks xmidwifewannabex, I have all the educational qualifications for uni already including a B in english, maths, chemistry & physics at Irish A level equivalent exams. I'd just like to get some biology (my lab science is chemistry) done.

Just got a reply from my email enquiry to the DLC. Turns out I can do this one module which is worth 15 credits and they reckon I should have it done in a month - is that realistic? Also I have to register for OCN (I think?) certification which will cost £155. Anyone know what that is?
Also looked up the OU course SK277 Human biology and this usually costs £355 but because I'm in Ireland it would cost me £755 so that's that out the window!!!
