Default Voluntary Work...

Well, since deciding to do my access course with the DLC Ive decided to do one day a week voluntary work until I go off to uni (hopefully!)as I have more time now that has been freed up, so.. I spoke to a woman at the hospital and she's sending me out an application pack.

The best thing is she said I'll be able to get a place volunteering on the maternity ward!!! I cant believe that, I was expecting them to say no! I cant wait now
xx

Brilliant news - I just got my CRB back so I will be getting my badge next week (hopefully) so I can get on the wards. It a bit annoying it took so long to come back cos its more difficult for me to fit it in now as my daughter is doing half days at the school and I dont drive so its a pain cos I have to be ready to pick her up from school wheras before she was in a creche and she stayed a lot longer giving me more time. Luckily I can pay to keep her in for the afternoon so I might do that a few times, otherwise I will have to go in the evenings and on weekends when my fella is around!!
