Personal Statement

I am currently starting my personal statement and have written the main part but am so stuck with the opening line! I know it has to be hard hitting but original, please can someone give me some ideas!

Hi there! Have a look at the PS section of the site, you'll find some useful information about what needs to be in your PS and how to make it stand out.

Most people usually start their PS with why they want to be a midwife, or what their inspiration is. There's plenty of people on here that would be happy to have a read of your PS for you, if you need some more inspiration!

Yep its a tricky one!!! As scallyway has said it usually is why you were drawn to be a midwife and what were the influences that set you on that path.. It's not easy but you will be so glad you have taken the time and put in the effort. Good luck hun with it. I've sent mine to my tutor and hoping for a nice reference and then it should be winging its way to the Uni. There are many on this site who are right behind you. Safety in numbers eh... xxxxxxx
