What if??

Hi

On my UCAS form I have applied for only 2 Universities, only because there are only two Universities near me that do Midwifery and I didn't really want to move away

1. Money issues
2. I have commitments where I am now

But what happens if I don't get accepted at either University??

I am really worried that this will happen

If you dont get in, you can always try the same uni's through clearing. How ever this is not what I wanna read, it does not even need to be consider cos you WILL get in.

All you can do is your best! make your application strong, do your best in the interview, do your homework, learn as much as you can about midwifery and come across as passionate as you do on here!

I only applied to one and the same thing stressed me out too, so easy for me to say, but I could only apply for one realistically (despite sending off for prospectus' for six others after my interview, as I was convinced I would not get in) I did and you will too, why should you not make it?

I only applied to two as well, for the same reasons as you. Got offered places at both!!

I can only realistically apply to one due to family ties so I understand your concern. I'm just hoping to do the best I can and if I don't get in then keep on till they ban me!

Yeah this has been a worry of mine too, I really only want to be accepted at Northumbria but I keep thinking I should apply to more 'just in case'. There is another uni nearby but would stretch the finances a bit on travelling and we all know finances are tight at the best of times!

However trying to keep that positive thinking going and keep saying to myself 'I will get in' lol !!!!!

Try to stay positive, you've made the most sensible and realistic decision, to be honest I applied to some that I knew it just wasn't realistic to even if I was lucky enough to get an interview then gain a place, no point applying to the ones you just can't get to, good luck.

I only applied for one uni for the same reasons as you, but luckily was offered where I wanted with the hospital I wanted for placements on first application.
