After having an argument with my supervisor about not being paid, I have realised that apart from actually starting the course I am really looking forward to handing in my resignation! I love the people I work with, but the manager would argue about the day of the week if you'd let her :annoyed:

So, what are you looking forward to about starting? x

Im looking forward to the only typing I have to do would be my assignments etc! I currently minute take very long meetings direct to laptop and then have to transcribe them so spend about 6 hours a day typing!!

Im also looking forward to actually being on my feet and running around being busy rather than sitting at a desk and only exercising my brain!

I thought of another one, I'm looking forward to being able to tell people I'm a student midwife rather than on a gap year x

I'm looking forward to everything about it, the assignments, learning about it all, working with the babies and families and most of all I'm looking forward to doing something with my life, I feel like everything I've done up to now is taking me nowhere and is such a waste of time. I just want my little girl to be proud of me and to set a good example to her!

Another one looking forward to leaving my job - I've been in my role for 3 years now, in my department for 6 and in my company for 10 years - I am soooooo over it now! Also looking forward to spending more time with my girls - I know it sounds mad, but I am out of the house 11 hours a day, 5 days a week. My uni is only half an hour a way, and the placement I am hoping for is closer, so overall I should be home more.

I'm looking forward to seeing smiling mothers and families with their new born child, and just being able to think 'I helped bring all this happiness!'

... I'm also looking forward to the only children screaming at me all day being new borns, who can't really help it! (I'm currently a nursery nurse).
